چکیده
Background: Cancer has spread rapidly all over the world, and its been considered a big health problem by international organizations. Today, patients prefer to use medicinal plants treat infectious non-infectious diseases. Objectives: Considering that Scutellaria therapeutic properties, this study was conducted investigate anti-cancer anti-bacterial effects of biologically active compounds species. Materials Methods: In research, data were extracted from various research reports other reliable sources. systematic review, websites databases Magiran, SID, PubMed, Iranmed, Scopus, Google scholar searched for papers published in Persian English using keywords compounds, anti-bacterial, species, cancer cells. No time limitation applied. Several interventional studies identified. These selected based on purpose study. Results: The results showed species contain bioactive such as wogonin, wogonoside, baicalein, baicalin, squalane, apigenin, flavonoid, neobaicalein, which have anti-microbial properties. Conclusion: Despite properties whether can be used an agent clinical settings depends many factors, need further studies.
